Hi everybody! I’m sorry to say that this might actually be my worst “Not Working on the Game Blog” yet. My camera is still broken so I can’t show you any pictures. My drawing programs are broken (don’t ask) so I can’t draw any more…just as I was getting good. It looks like I’m going to have to Blog the way they did back in the old days (late 90’s)….with (shudder) WORDS.
Since I can only use my (shudder) words, I’m going to take this opportunity to come clean. All this time I’ve been lying to you about something. Now, I know what you’re thinking, what kind of sick individual lies about something over the internet. I know I’m a rare breed. Anyway, the truth is, I HAVE been working on the game.
Please don’t hate me.
I’m sorry; I don’t know what I was thinking. I just thought that you would like me better if I made something up. I thought you would think I was cool if I was sort of the anti-game maker, the guy who had nothing to do with the thing you were most excited about. I’m sorry.
I decided that, to make it up to you, I would spill the beans on the game. Here is a list of the top ten things about the game that I’m excited about.
10. Incredible new fighting moves that take full advantage of the Wii’s new controller. (still working on the bug that it’s only on X-box 360)
9. Brining back the side-scroller.
8. We’ve eliminated the annoying ability to save. When you die, you start from the very beginning for repeat enjoyment.
7. Two Playable characters (Cro-Marmot and The Idol). These are technically the only Happy Tree Friends characters in the game since we lost the rights to all the other characters in a poker game.
6. Exciting, text based roll playing battles just like Final Fantasy (the first one).
5. One word: Madden…without the football…or NFL licenses.
4. Online play! (only downside is that your modem can’t be faster then 28.8K)
3. Hidden playable characters. Unlock Me, Ken and Kenn. Make us fight to the death.
2. The first video game ever to be about knitting.
1. Uh, I guess I only had nine things I was excited about….sorry.
There ya go. I hope I didn’t spoil it for you. Just act surprised when the game comes out, and don’t tell anybody I told you.
